Format & Rules

Know the format before you play. XP Arena staff decisions are final.

Knockout Format

  • Single elimination format
  • Winner advances to the next round
  • If tied, extra time and penalties decide the winner
  • Late arrival can lead to disqualification
  • Players must be ready before their match starts

Online Play Rules

  • Played online — you can enter from anywhere, no travel to the venue
  • Your match invite goes to the EA FC online ID you register with, so check it is correct
  • Be online and ready 10 minutes before your match time
  • A player who is not reachable 10 minutes after their match opens forfeits that match
  • Screenshot the final score — both players confirm the result before it is recorded
  • On a disconnect before the 10th minute, the match is restarted from 0-0
  • On a disconnect after the 10th minute, the scoreline at that point stands
  • XP Arena staff decide any dispute the screenshots cannot settle

General Rules

  • Respect all players and staff
  • No abusive language or fighting
  • XP Arena staff decision is final in disputes
  • Players must confirm their score after each match
  • Payment confirms booking unless XP Arena states otherwise
