FC26 & FC27 Online Tournaments

Four online EA FC tournaments every week, played from home anywhere in Nigeria on PS5, Xbox or PC. ₦500 for every match you win, plus ₦30,000 for the champion.

This week's schedule

How the online tournaments work

Each tournament is a single-elimination knockout. You book a slot on the tournament's page, transfer the entry fee, and XP Arena staff confirm your place. When the bracket is published you are emailed your opponent and their EA ID, you play your match online, and you send the result through the link in that email.

The four tournaments are separate events. Entering FC26 Friendlies on Thursday does not enter you into FC26 Ultimate Team on Friday — each has its own entry, its own bracket and its own prize.

Format & Rules

The Friendlies and Ultimate Team tournaments share every rule except the mode itself.

Knockout Format

  • Single elimination format
  • Winner advances to the next round
  • If tied, extra time and penalties decide the winner
  • Late arrival can lead to disqualification
  • Players must be ready before their match starts

Online Play Rules — Friendlies

  • Played online — you can enter from anywhere, no travel to the venue
  • Friendlies only — matches are played as an online Friendly, not Seasons or Ultimate Team
  • PS5, Xbox Series X and PC only — earlier consoles are not eligible
  • Your match invite goes to the EA ID you register with, so check it is correct
  • Be online and ready 10 minutes before your match time
  • A player who is not reachable 10 minutes after their match opens forfeits that match
  • The per-match reward is paid for matches you win by playing — a bye or a walkover does not earn it
  • Screenshot the final score — both players confirm the result before it is recorded
  • On a disconnect before the 10th minute, the match is restarted from 0-0
  • On a disconnect after the 10th minute, the scoreline at that point stands
  • XP Arena staff decide any dispute the screenshots cannot settle

Online Play Rules — Ultimate Team

  • Played online — you can enter from anywhere, no travel to the venue
  • Ultimate Team only — matches are played as an Ultimate Team friendly against your opponent, not Rivals, Champions or Seasons
  • Any squad is allowed — no rating cap, and no restrictions on players, loans or evolutions

General Rules

  • Respect all players and staff
  • No abusive language or fighting
  • XP Arena staff decision is final in disputes
  • Players must confirm their score after each match
  • Payment confirms booking unless XP Arena states otherwise

Common questions

Which online FC tournaments does XP Arena run?
Four, every week at 6:00 PM WAT: FC26 Friendlies on Thursday, FC26 Ultimate Team on Friday, FC27 Friendlies on Saturday, FC27 Ultimate Team on Sunday. Each is its own tournament with its own bracket, and you can enter as many of them as you like.
What is the difference between Friendlies and Ultimate Team?
In the Friendlies tournaments every match is an online Friendly, so you do not need an Ultimate Team squad. In the Ultimate Team tournaments you play with the squad you have built, and any squad is allowed — there is no rating cap.
How much is entry, and what can I win?
Entry is ₦3,000 for each tournament. You earn ₦500 for every match you win, and the champion takes ₦30,000 on top. A bye or a walkover is not a match win.
Do I need FC26 or FC27?
It depends on the tournament. Thursday and Friday are played on FC26; Saturday and Sunday are played on FC27. Each tournament page says which edition and mode it uses.
I entered the old FC Online Tournament. Where did it go?
It became these four weekly tournaments. Your past results are still on your XP Arena profile, and the rules those tournaments were played under are the Friendlies rules below.
